The trip that took up the majority of our holiday time, was one to visit Kevin's parents at their new home in Saugerties, NY. It's about a two hour trip from NYC, and close to Albany and Kingston if you know where those are! We left about ten days before Christmas in order to make it in time for his brother Ryan's graduation from auto mechanic school in CT. Graduation day also happened to be Kevin's mother Katie's birthday so it was an extra special day in the Herlihy house.
NY was a lot of fun because there are so many neat places to explore within driving distance. Kevin also has some second cousins in the area who we were able to visit with, including Kristi who has a daughter that just turned one (pics to follow of course!).
