It just wouldn't be a blog update without some facts about Kerriann. I'm not the only one who has been busy the past few months.
For lack of time, I'm going to keep it brief. What is Kerriann into these days? Besides cupcakes?
Princesses, princesses, and more princesses. Dressing up. Hosting tea parties. You know, the typical girly stuff? My poor, sad, neglected blog. It has been so long since I last posted on you. But I promise, I can explain. Since my last post in April, so much has changed in my life.
I walked at graduation in May.
I interned in the communications office for the City of Morgantown (where I took many photos around town!).
I started my own portrait photography business, Herlihy Photography.

Today I attended my last two School
of Journalism classes for my undergraduate degree. This evening is so
bittersweet. On one hand, I’m just that much closer to being a college
graduate. But on the other hand, I’m seriously depressed by the thought of being
DONE.
I have had so many amazing
experiences while completing my undergraduate degree. Interning at a full

I still wasn't feeling up to doing much, but Kerriann was starting to get antsy so I knew I had to do something.
We decided to take a little trip to Target for some new art supplies. Because when in doubt, go to Target and spend money, right? ;)

I have really missed the snow, but with the extreme warmth that we have experienced the past couple of weeks, it has been nice to get outside and breathe some fresh air.

First she opened gifts from her grandparents. A Dora jewelry set from Grandma and a cute red dress from Grammy and Papa (which you'll see in pictures in the future!).
Next up was the package from Aunt Julie and family... markers and chocolate, two of her favorite items!

We went to Target (where I was extremely disappointed with the selection) and she picked out Disney princess cards.

My friend Molly made a last minute trip into town this weekend and we met up with her at the WVU gymnastics meet. It snowed last night and all day today, so there wasn't really much we could go out and do. I didn't think to bring her snowsuit home from school yesterday and it was really too cold to go out and play without it. Besides, the wind was pretty brutal so it wouldn't have been much fun for either of us.
Instead we spent our day cleaning and watching TV Adrianehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11210608500625674090noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2241693266622245497.post-14352348438199996652012-02-11T14:14:00.000-05:002012-02-11T14:14:27.040-05:00Congratulations, Monsignor Paul!Last Saturday Kerriann, Christiane, my mom and I went to Wheeling to take part in Kevin's Uncle Paul's ceremony to become a Monsignor in the Catholic church. We were originally scheduled for a flight that didn't depart from Pittsburgh until 8:30pm, so we felt blessed to be able to fly stand by on a flight so much earlier in the day. Last weekend was a three day weekend because of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, so Kerriann and I spent a quiet few days at home. We don't do that very often. I originally had planned to visit my parents, but the weather was looking a little questionable, and I was pretty worn out from the first week back at school, so I decided it was best to Adrianehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11210608500625674090noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2241693266622245497.post-24848601363374063222012-01-15T20:24:00.000-05:002012-01-15T20:24:27.198-05:00Christmas Day in Photos
We spent Christmas day at our house in Morgantown this year. My immediate family joined us for a big lunch and more gifts, and my Aunt Sherrie, Uncle John and cousin Chris stopped by for a few hours as well. On Christmas Eve, we drove back from Gassaway just in time for me to make a quick trip to Kroger for Christmas Day food supplies, get ready, and head to Christmas Eve Mass as a family.
Since we were alone, we got a few family portraits courtesy of the self timer before heading out.
