Shannon's Confirmation 11/21

After two long years of preparation, my little brother Shannon was confirmed!  My mom was in charge of teaching almost all of the classes, so it was a big day for her as well.  The confirmation took place at the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston, WV on November 21, 2010.  The date kept getting moved around, but we were glad when they decided on this date because it was the only time that Kevin, Kerriann and I would be able to attend!

Before the confirmation we were able to meet up with Kevin's uncle, Paul, because he works with the Bishop who was in town to perform the confirmation.  That made the day seem a little more personal which was great!  The ceremony overall was beautiful in the co-cathedral and I think everyone was happy that the confirmation was held in Charleston with a larger group.

Shannon picked the name Patrick, in honor of our grandfather Patrick McDonough... so Kevin and I thought a Celtic cross was the perfect gift for him!
