During our last week at home (in our house in Alabama) we were able to have a LITTLE bit of fun! Kevin's parents and his friend Marshall flew in on Sunday the 7th to help us pack, and to attend graduation. It also just so happened that they decided to push family day back to the 8th, so they were able to join us for that as well! Our good friend Carmen also attended, and we all had a great time. It was so fun for Kevin's guests to see his aircraft up close and personal.
When we arrived at Lowe Army Heliport, we watched a short ceremony where all of the aviators received recognition and also were given keychains. This is a special tradition that has been going on for years. After that we were free to explore two Blackhawks on the grounds. It was pretty exciting, because there were also helicopters landing all around us throughout the afternoon. As usual, I took way too many pictures... here are a few of our favorites!
